Krunal is an Entrepreneur managing 2 Companies with 29 years of experience in diverse set of industries such as Infrastructure Development, Township Development, Sustainability Design & Engineering and Climate Positive Construction. Krunal had an illustrious corporate career of 21 years and since February 2016 is a purpose driven Entrepreneur. Earlier, he has worked in Companies such as Afcons Infrastructure Ltd. Hincon Techno-consult, Lavasa Corporation Ltd. As an Entrepreneur, he has two main Companies, Jurian Sustainability LLP and Jans Bamboo Products Pvt Ltd. Krunal has recently come on board of Natural Impact Africa Ltd, registered in Kenya. Krunal had an illustrious career in Corporate having worked in multiple roles. He was part of prestigious world bank aided project Bandra – Worli Outfalls of Afcons Infrastructure wherein he contributed to and gained experience in prefab construction, marine construction, planning and monitoring and contract management. Due to his excellent performance and all-round site experience, he was moved to Head Office and worked on newly created department “Technocommercial” which was a conduit for Tendering and Procurement/ Subcontracts. During his tenure, Afcons was awarded projects to a tune of Rs.550 crores. After working for 7.5 years in Afcons, Krunal moved as ERP Functional Consultant to Hincon Technoconsult for a brief span of 6 months and thereafter to the newly conceptualized Lavasa Hill City Project promoted by HCC as an Executive Assistant to the Company President. In this role, he helped build the Organization along with the President and within a short period, experienecd more passion towards Sustainability. He thereafter shifted his role to being the Chief Sustainability Officer of Lavasa from the year 2005 onwards, during the time when there were only a handful of such people in India. In this new role, he helped make Lavasa nature positive in its unbuilt form, making the project relevant to the ecology of the place and worked on all the elements of nature in establishing a symbiotic relationship between these different elements. This was unique and one of its kind in the world, successful nature based endeavors that spanned 12,500 acres of land. After working for 13 years in Lavasa City, Krunal moved on to being an Entrepreneur in year 2016. He relates to himself as a passion-preneur and actively works towards creating a nature-based economy. The current domain he is working on are ‘creation of a climate positive habitat’, which includes end-to-end solution for any development that is looking at creating minimal environmental impact and world class responsible living.
