Garima Mishra is the Senior Advisor, Growth and Engagement, Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a global non-profit
organisation established in 2019 to help end plastic waste in the environment and advance a circular economy
for plastics. She joined the Alliance in January 2024 and is responsible for nurturing membership network and
stakeholder engagement and building a community of stakeholders with a passion for creating a circular
economy for plastic.

A seasoned development sector professional with 19 years of rich and diverse experience, working closely with
diverse stakeholders like Central Ministries, State Departments, Funding Agencies, Industry, Regulatory Bodies,
Municipalities; and community centric/ not for profit organizations.

Her area of work includes Plastic Waste Circular Economy, Waste Management, Urban Infrastructure, Swachh
Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), Biodiversity, Forestry, and livelihood promotion. She started her career
with Confederation of Indian Industry, and has since then worked in the consulting space, managing projects
across India and neighboring region.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Natural Resource Management from The Energy and
Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi.
