Shivam Bansal is Director & CEO of JJ Plastalloy Pvt. Ltd., an Indian manufacturer and global exporter of masterbatches and polymer compounds. An IIT Delhi engineer whose passion for material science took root during his studies, he set out to build globally competitive Indian capabilities in specialty masterbatches and compounds, a segment long dominated by multinationals, through strategic import substitution.
Under his leadership, JJ Plastalloy became one of India’s first masterbatch manufacturers to earn AEO Level 3 certification, with integrated facilities in Dahej (Gujarat) and Varanasi and an annual capacity of 70,000 MT, serving customers across continents.
Shivam is focused on repositioning plastics from commodity to capability, making them more functional, sustainable and cost-efficient, while evolving JJ Plastalloy from manufacturer into a knowledge partner for the industry.
