Dr. Pradeep Panigrahi is an ESG and Sustainability expert with over 3 decades of experience in reputed Indian business conglomerates - Murugappa Group, Tata Group, Mahindra Group and L&T Group.

He has also worked with StrateRise, a leading Mumbai based consultancy firm as COO; Zecomy, Bengaluru as CSO and now with Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), USA as Lead Advisor - +Biz, India. He has a Ph. D. in Ecology with an international fellowship from IRD LEST, Universite’ Paris VI, France and has published 20+ research papers on ecology & business sustainability. He is recipient of several awards, including Bright Spark award by Murugappa Group and Mahindra Innovation Awards - Gold category.

He is life member of several reputed organizations including Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), Orissa Environmental Society (OES) and Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). Also, he is member of several national level committees, including SEBI – ESG Advisory Committee, Niti Aayog Water Positivity/ Neutrality Committee, FICCI Sustainability & Climate Change Committee, CII National Water Committee, Bombay Chamber’s Sustainability Committee, Mumbai First Sustainability Committee etc. Dr. Panigrahi has participated in several national/ international conferences including COP-19 at Warsaw and COP-28 at Dubai.

He was also a panellist at the prestigious Harvard Business School, Boston in a programme for university professors. Dr. Panigrahi was recognized by global platforms such as Energy+Environment Leader (2021) and GITEX Impact Leader, Dubai (2023). He has also been guest faculty/ speaker at IIM-A, IIM-L, IIM-S, IIM-J, IIT-B, XIMB, SIIB, MMA etc. Dr. Panigrahi’s work on Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWL) through circular approach has been published as leading case studies by Ivy Business School, Canada and HBS, Boston.

Dr. Panigrahi was also in various panels of leading media houses such as India Today, CNBC, ET Now, MINT etc. He is a certified Climate Change champion, and his focus area includes achieving high performance in the fields of Carbon Neutrality, Water Security, Circular Economy, Biodiversity Management, Creating Shared Value, Corporate Governance, ESG excellence etc.
