Dr. Mala Singh, stands among the nation’s most influential voices in green building innovation, ESG leadership, carbon strategy, and Net Zero transformation. With more than 24 years of excellence, she has dedicated her career to redefining how India builds, operates, and sustains its infrastructure.
Dr. Singh is the Founder, Chairperson & Managing Director of PEC Greening India, an organization that has become a national catalyst for sustainability. Under her guidance, PEC Greening India is transforming over 5 billion square feet of built environment across India - including iconic developments such as the CSMT Redevelopment, IIM Nagpur, NIT Tadepalligudum, NIT Goa, AIIMS Kolkata, AIIMS Nagpur, IIT Dharwad, and numerous major real estate and infrastructure projects.
A trailblazer in both greenfield and retrofitted sustainable development, she has led the green transformation of hundreds of existing buildings and corporate campuses, championing the belief that India’s Net Zero ambitions require not just new innovation, but the rejuvenation of our existing built environment.
An academically distinguished alumna of IIT Roorkee, Dr. Singh holds an impressive suite of global accreditations — including IGBC Fellow & AP, GRIHA CP, LEED GA, GRI Assessor, and certifications in ESG, sustainability, and carbon expertise — making her one of India’s most comprehensively qualified sustainability professionals.
